Summer 2026 Theatre Camp - Coastal Spotlight

July 6-17

The Orange Beach Performing Arts Center is hosting its first-ever Summer Theatre Camp, Coastal Spotlight, from July 6th to July 17th (9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday). Students ages 8 through 13 (by the first day of theatre camp) are eligible to enroll.

During our two-week camp, students will participate in various morning classes that introduce them to the world of theatre. In the afternoon, students will have the opportunity to act in the show or work behind the scenes in areas such as costuming, set building, lighting and audio, prop making, and set crew.

Throughout the two weeks, all campers will work on our production, which will be performed for parents and guests on Friday, July 17th at 6 p.m. Students will receive a camp t-shirt and two snacks. Parents are responsible for sending their child with lunch and a refillable water bottle. Send your student and watch them come out shining!

**Students who register for Coastal Spotlight will NOT be able to register for Expect Excellence's "Culinary Camp" as they will happen simultaneously.

The front box office at the Performing Arts Center, 23908 Canal Road, is now open from 3:30-6 p.m. Monday through Friday. The public can purchase tickets for community theatre or school plays there.
