The Clay Studio features ceramics artist Maya Blume-Cantrell making beautiful artwork from clay. The public is invited to Make-Your-Own art in a pottery class! Call for details 251-981-ARTS (2787).

CLASSES

  • Hand building - $85 an hour
  • Throwing on the pottery wheel - $85 an hour
  • "Pick-n-Paint" - Glaze pre-made pottery - $35 and up

Group classes and open studio time available at varying times throughout the year.

FIELD TRIPS

Clay Studio field trip appointments available on Friday mornings.  

  • A 30 minute demonstration and studio tour with Resident Ceramics Artist - $85
  • To add painting or hand building, add $20 per student, per item (minimum of $160)
  • Maximum # participants 15
  • Custom combination field trips to include The Hot Shop are available with some space limitations.
