The 17,400-square-foot City of Orange Beach Adult Fitness Center is open with 24-hour accessibility for members. The facility is on the Rec Center campus, behind the Community Center.
The Orange Beach Senior Center opened in January 2003. The center is located adjacent to the Orange Beach Library. Amenities include arts and crafts, a game room, a multi-purpose room, and a screened porch overlooking Wolf Bay. Senior adult programs are offered throughout the year by professional staff.
The Orange Beach Aquatics Center is located in South Baldwin County, within a mile of the Gulf of Mexico. Our program currently serves thousands of members annually and is designed for all ages and ability levels. In addition, the programs and services of the Orange Beach Aquatics Center are built upon and focused on enabling individuals and families to build healthy lifestyles.
The Coastal Arts Center campus overlooks scenic Wolf Bay and offers many artistic experiences with a breathtaking view.
The Community Center is part of a complex of buildings that include the Recreation Center, Tennis Complex, Aquatics Center, and Fitness Center. This 5,000-square-foot facility has a full-service kitchen and seats approximately 300 people. The center is available for meetings, events, and parties.
Conveniently located in Orange Beach at the base of the Beach Express and Canal Road and easily accessible from Gulf Shores and Foley, the Event Center is home to almost 100 events annually, from corporate conferences to small trade shows as well as banquets, sporting events, seminars and more.
The Golf Center is located on Easy Street, just off U.S. Highway 180 (Canal Road) in Orange Beach, about one and one-fourth miles east of the Foley Beach Express exit on Canal Road.
The building that houses the Orange Beach History Museum was originally built in 1910 as a schoolhouse. It has served as a museum since 1995 and was moved to its present location in 1999.

While the beach is without a doubt the reason most people visit Orange Beach, there are also many Orange Beach bike trails, walking paths, parks, and green spaces to explore and enjoy.
The City of Orange Beach Expect Excellence Theater and Orange Beach Middle/High School Theatre Program perform at the Orange Beach Performing Arts Center. The 35,000-square-foot center opened in September 2021 and includes a 710-seat main theater, and a black box theater that can seat up to 175 for intimate performances.
All about the programs within the Recreation Center
The Orange Beach Sportsplex, which opened in the spring of 2001, includes softball, baseball, and football/soccer fields as well as a 3-court sand volleyball area. It features a 1500-seat stadium with a pressbox, locker rooms, and a second concession stand.
The Orange Beach Tennis Center has eight lighted hard courts that are open from 7 am to 10 pm - seven days a week. The center is also home to the Orange Beach Ladies Tennis League.
The City of Orange Beach Wind and Water Learning Center is committed to enhancing life for locals and guests by providing coastal access, facilities, equipment, and education for sailing and paddling sports.
The Orange Beach Pickleball Complex (opening May 7, 2026) features 14 lighted courts, shade cabanas, restrooms, and a pavilion.
