Welcome to the Orange Beach Police Department (OBPD) website. We believe you will find our site very informative and helpful. As police officers and public servants, we enter into public service to make a positive difference in people's lives. In doing so, the men and women of the OBPD serve with integrity, professionalism, commitment, courage, and respect for service. Our department is a progressive agency embracing technology and intelligence-driven policing resulting in proactive enforcement of the law and enhanced community interaction.

Divisions
The OBPD, which is comprised of approximately 80 employees, is organized into the following six divisions to serve you:
- Patrol Division
- Marine Division
- Investigative Division
- Intelligence Division
- Communications Division
- Support Services Division

One significant piece of our operations focuses on community involvement and our interactions with many of you. Given the rapid pace at which many of us now operate, it is imperative we are accessible and hear from you regarding your concerns, questions, or observations. Our officers and employees will be in your neighborhoods, businesses, and other areas in an effort to interact with the community and provide the high level of service you are accustomed to receiving. It is our profound privilege to serve and protect this community. We feel this is truly paradise and will do all we can to ensure our community and our visitors are left with that same feeling.
