City of Orange Beach Youth Contact Football League
The City of Orange Beach and Mayor Tony Kennon are continuing our youth football program for the 2026 fall season, targeting 3rd through 6th graders. This initiative focuses on intensive skill development, player safety, and relationship building with the Orange Beach High School (OBHS) football staff.
League Format:
- Age Groups: 3rd - 6th Grade
- Player/Parent Meeting: Tuesday, August 11th
- Evaluations: Monday, August 10th
- Practice Days: Monday and Thursday Evenings
- Game Days: Tuesday Evenings
- End of the Season: Tuesday, October 6th
- Location: Orange Beach Sportsplex
The season starts with a mandatory player evaluation, led by the Orange Beach High School (OBHS) football coaching staff, to ensure balanced teams and promote a safe, fair, and competitive environment. The OBHS staff will continue to be actively involved, attending practices and games to provide expert guidance and mentorship.
Registration:
Youth football league registration runs from May 4th to 17th. The fee is $100. Register via Sportsman. If needed, view the How to Register page for additional instructions.
The City supplies helmets, shoulder pads, game pants, and game jerseys. Players must provide practice pants, a practice jersey, a mouthpiece, and rubber football cleats.
