Youth Basketball

The Orange Beach Parks & Recreation Department offers youth basketball each winter to children ages 5 years old to 12 years old at the Orange Beach Sportsplex. Registration opens in October and the season runs from late November through January. (Ages 5 to 6 years old are co-ed leagues.)

Basketball Dates ‘22-23 

• Registration opening: October 17th 
• Registration closing: November 6th
• (When registration opens, click on the links below to register via ActiveNet. If needed, click here for instructions on how to create an ActiveNet account.) For basketball jersey sizes, try-ons are available at the Orange Beach Sportsplex Office.

  • 8U Boys Basketball (Ages 7-8)
  • 8U Girls Basketball (Ages 7-8)
  • 10U Boys Basketball (Ages 9-10)
  • 10U Girls Basketball (Ages 9-10)
  • 12U Boys Basketball (Ages 11-12)
  • 12U Girls Basketball (Ages 11-12)
• Coaches Clinic: November 7th
• Player Evaluations: November 10th 
• Practice Start: November 14th
• Season Opens: December 12th
• Season Closes: February 2nd
