The Orange Beach Tennis Center has eight lighted hard courts that are open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. - seven days a week. The light automatically turn off at 10 p.m.
The center is also home to the Orange Beach Ladies Tennis League and Orange Beach Middle/High School Tennis Team.

Court Use and Reservations
- Courts 1 and 8 are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are limited to two-hour sessions. If others are waiting, please limit your session to 30 minutes. (Additional restrictions are outlined in the policies and procedures below.) If both courts are occupied, visit the Tennis Center office to check availability.
- Courts 2 through 7 may be reserved exclusively by City of Orange Beach residents. Reservations can be made online at CourtReserve website.
- Only individual courts may be scheduled.
- Court reservations are limited to two-hour sessions and may not be booked for consecutive sessions.
- Courts may only be scheduled up to 48 hours in advance.
Youth Supervision
- Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult (age 18 or older) while using the courts.

Professional Tennis Racket Stringing Service
The Orange Beach Tennis Center offers professional racket stringing service. Individuals can drop racket(s) off at the Tennis Center, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Tennis Manager or Tennis Pro can assist individuals with logging rackets in for stringing. Bring your own string or you can purchase string, starting at $10. The restringing fee is $30. There is a 48-72 hour turnaround and rush jobs are available.
- Scheduled play for the Orange Beach Ladies Tennis League and Orange Beach Middle/High School Tennis Teams takes precedence over all other court usage and may occupy all courts during scheduled times.
- The Orange Beach Ladies Tennis League may reserve up to three courts for team instruction or practice with their coaches, pending availability.
- Private instruction or lessons are not permitted without prior authorization from City administration.
- The City of Orange Beach reserves the right to schedule facilities and courts for City-sponsored events, tournaments, programs, or other official uses.
- Courts may be closed anytime for weather conditions, safety concerns, maintenance needs, or other operational reasons as determined by staff.

To ensure a respectful and enjoyable experience for all patrons:
- Players must observe standard tennis etiquette and conduct both on and around the courts.
- Only non-marking, heelless rubber-soled tennis shoes are permitted.
- No pets or motorized/non-motorized vehicles (bicycles, scooters, e-bikes, golf carts, rollerblades, skateboards, etc.) are allowed on the courts.
- The Tennis Center is a tobacco-free, drug-free, and alcohol-free facility.
- Shirts and appropriate athletic attire must be worn at all times.
- Pickleball is not allowed on the tennis courts.*
*The City of Orange Beach provides six indoor pickleball courts at the Recreation Center and 14 outdoor courts at the Pickleball Complex. For information on tennis or pickleball programming, call the Tennis Center at 251-974-6387.

- Use of the ball machine is by reservation only and at no charge on the CourtReserve website/app.
- After an online reservation is made, everything needed to utilize the machine is kept in the closet on the southwest corner of the tennis center building.
- At the end of your reservation, please return all items back to the storage closet.
- Damage or loss to the machine will result in a $200 penalty.
- In case of inclement weather, promptly cease use and return equipment back to the storage area.
- Children under 18 must have an adult in court with them during use.
- Do not look into the barrel of the machine.
- Do not stand in front of the machine.
- Do not aim the machine at any person.
- Do not use the machine if it is wet or in standing water.
- Keep hands clear of the machine and do not place foreign objects on the ball machine.
- Keep power shift off when loading balls.
