Biography
Ginger Harrelson was elected to the Orange Beach City Council in 2025. A longtime resident, attorney, and business owner, she is committed to preserving the character and quality of life that make Orange Beach a special place to live, work, and visit. Ginger graduated magna cum laude from the University of Alabama with a B.A. in Political Science and History and cum laude from the University of Mississippi School of Law with a Juris Doctor. She co-founded Beachball Properties, a locally owned vacation rental and real estate company that manages more than 350 properties along the Alabama Gulf Coast. Her work has helped strengthen the local economy through tourism, job creation, and partnerships with small businesses. Ginger is active in civic and philanthropic efforts and created and helps foster a popular digital community that connects more than 110,000 residents and visitors. She lives in Orange Beach with her husband, Hunter, and their two children. In her free time, she enjoys boating, traveling, and taking part in community events and local traditions, especially Mardi Gras.
