Ribbon cutting held for new Freestanding Emergency Department

Officials gathered Friday morning for a ceremonial ribbon cutting for the South Baldwin Regional Medical Center’s new Freestanding Emergency Department, located at 3590 Gulf Shores Parkway.

Orange Beach recognizes Lemonade Day's young entrepreneurs

Orange Beach Mayor Tony Kennon and the City Council recognized Lemonade Day Coastal Alabama participants at the council meeting on Tuesday, July 20th. Lemonade Day was held on May 15th and was a partnership between the Coastal Alabama Business Chamber and South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce.

Huey helicopter flights return August 18-19 to Orange Beach

The nonprofit Friends of Army Aviation group is scheduled to return to Orange Beach on August 18-19 to offer rides in a vintage Vietnam War-era Bell UH-1 “Huey” combat helicopter from the helipad near Orange Beach Event Center at The Wharf.
