SEC Women’s Soccer Tournament quarterfinals kick off Tuesday at Orange Beach Sportsplex

The Southeastern Conference Women’s Soccer Tournament is down to the quarterfinals at the Orange Beach Sportsplex. Play is scheduled to kick off at noon (central time) with No. 2 seed Tennessee facing 7th seed Vanderbilt. 

The remaining games for the day are as follows: 

  • 2:30 p.m. - Match 8: No. 3 Texas A&M vs. No. 14 LSU
  • 5 p.m. - Match 9: No. 1 Arkansas vs. No. 8 Auburn
  • 7:30 p.m. - Match 10: No. 4 South Carolina (defending champs) vs. No. 5 Missouri.    

On Friday, Nov. 13, No. 14 seed LSU beat No. 11 Alabama, 2-0, in the opening match of the single-elimination tournament, and No. 13 Florida beat No. 12 Kentucky, 6-5 in OT. On Sunday, Nov. 15, No. 7 Vanderbilt topped No. 10 Mississippi State, 4-0; No. 14 LSU beat Ole Miss, 2-1, in OT; No. 8 Auburn beat No. 9 Georgia, 2-1; and No. 5 Missouri beat No. 13 Florida, 2-1. 

The semifinals are scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 19, at 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. and the Championship will be on Sunday at 1 p.m..

The sportsplex is open to spectators, following all Covid-19 restrictions such as wearing masks and staying 6 feet apart from strangers. Tickets are $5 per day for adults and $2 for children. All tournament games will be aired live on the SEC Network.

The Orange Beach Sportsplex is at 4389 William Silvers Parkway, just off Highway 180 (Canal Road) in Orange Beach, about 1 mile from the Foley Beach Express exit on Canal Road.
