Registration opens October 12th for youth basketball and flag football 2021-22 winter season in Orange Beach

Registration for the City of Orange Beach's Youth Basketball and Flag Football 2021-22 winter season will be open from October 12 to October 29, 2021 for boys and girls ages 5-12.

The registration fee is $60.

Beach Safety Division Chief Brett Lesinger and Lifeguard of the Year Jean Tinoco

After a vote by his peers on the Orange Beach Surf Rescue squad, Jean Tinoco was named the 2021 Lifeguard of the Year.

Orange Beach Fire Department Beach Safety Division Chief Brett Lesinger presented the award to Tinoco at the close of the summer season. The glass award was created by artist Kerry Park of the Hot Shop at the Coastal Arts Center of Orange Beach.
