A mandatory curfew will begin at 8 p.m. Saturday in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach and last until 6 a.m. Sunday.

The curfew prohibits any vehicle from being on roadways, and is focused on driving restrictions for the safety of residents who encounter strong coastal winds on roads or bridges, according to a news release issued by the city of Orange Beach Friday afternoon.
