Orange Beach Wildlife calendar photo contest underway

The Orange Beach Wildlife Center is holding its annual Wildlife Calendar Photo Contest.  

The contest is open to amateur photographers only, and photographs must be of local and native wildlife. All entries must be in .JPEG format and in their original state - no editing. No more than five entries per person will be accepted.

Groundbreaking ceremony held for Ono Island Fire Station No. 4

A groundbreaking ceremony was held for Ono Island Fire Station No. 4 on Wednesday, April 14, 2021. 

City and fire rescue officials joined the Ono Island Fire Protection Authority for the ceremony. The new 6,085-square-foot station will be built across the street from the existing station.

Hope for the Coast, a free food drive-thru, set for Saturday, April 17 in Orange Beach

Central Church | Flora-Bama has partnered with Feeding the Gulf Coast to distribute free food to families and individuals in need this Saturday, April 17th, from 9 a.m. to noon in the parking lot behind Orange Beach City Hall, 4099 Orange Beach Boulevard.  

This Hope for the Coast event and assistance is for all of our Gulf Coast residents and communities.
