The City of Orange Beach Friends & Family Relay for Life Team will host a Full Moon Paddle on Sunday, August 22 at the Wind & Water Learning Center on Wolf Bay.

Dinner will be provided at 6:15 p.m. by Luna’s Eat & Drink, with musician Austin Thompson entertaining participants. The paddle will follow dinner from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Each participant must bring his or her own kayak, Personal Floatation Device and white light (headlamps work best). Participants are encouraged to wear lifejackets. Paddling experience is necessary for this event, which will cover 3-5 miles depending on conditions. It is not an event for beginners or young children.

The registration fee is $25 per person.  Everyone must be pre-registered.  Online registration for the August 22nd event is available on Eventbrite at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/wolf-bay-full-moon-paddle-tickets-163879292375.  A Full Moon Paddle registration form can be downloaded by clicking here and they are also available at all recreation facilities in Orange Beach.  All funds raised benefit the American Cancer Society – Relay for Life effort.
