Orange Beach Police Chief Joe Fierro began a Press Conference on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2017, with this statement:

"I think the two things that we would like the public to draw from this is, number one, we are here to serve the public and keep this city safe. And we rely on the public to let us know what they have seen and, most certainly, as demonstrated today we will act on it. Secondly, I think it’s important to note for Orange Beach, this was significant. We have over 14 weapons seized ... along with drugs and cash. What’s important here to note is that this simply is not going to be tolerated. That’s not something this city is about. This is a family-friendly destination and we will keep it that way."

(This arrest was the result of tip to the Orange Beach Police Department. Tips can be given to the police department by calling 251-981-1018 or by emailing info@obpd.org.)
