Friends of Army Aviation helicopter flight in 2018

On June 15 and June 16, the nonprofit Friends of Army Aviation group is scheduled to return to Orange Beach to offer rides in a vintage Vietnam War-era Bell UH-1 “Huey” combat helicopter from the helipad near Orange Beach Event Center at The Wharf.

Full Moon Paddle fundraiser set for June 12

The City of Orange Beach Wind & Water Learning Center will host a Full Moon Paddle on Wolf Bay on Sunday, June 12th.

The fundraiser for the Baldwin County Child Advocacy Center will include dinner, provided by Luna’s, starting at 6:15 p.m., with entertainment by Spicy Danger. The paddle will start at 7 p.m.

Memorial Day Closing Graphic

City of Orange Beach offices will be closed Monday, May 30th in observance of the 2022 Memorial Day holiday.

Trash and recycling will not be affected. All routes will run as normal. Offices will reopen with normal business hours on Tuesday, May 31st.

Eight graduate Fire Recruit Class 22-01, earning Firefighter I and Firefighter II certificates, in Orange Beach

Congratulations to Recruit Class 22-01 for successful completion of the Orange Beach Fire Rescue Residency Firefighter Program! The graduation ceremony was held on Friday, May 20, 2022 at Island Church. 

Although the program began with 16, eight recruits were able to receive their Firefighter I and Firefighter II certificates.
