On June 2 and June 3, the nonprofit Friends of Army Aviation group is scheduled to return to Orange Beach to offer rides in a vintage Vietnam War-era Bell UH-1 “Huey” combat helicopter from the helipad near Orange Beach Event Center at The Wharf.

The Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources’ (ADCNR) Marine Resources Division (MRD) announces that Alabama state waters and federal waters will open to private vessel anglers for red snapper fishing on Friday, May 28, 2021.
The Orange Beach Wildlife Center is holding its annual Wildlife Calendar Photo Contest.
The contest is open to amateur photographers only, and photographs must be of local and native wildlife. All entries must be in .JPEG format and in their original state - no editing. No more than five entries per person will be accepted.
Central Church | Flora-Bama has partnered with Feeding the Gulf Coast to distribute free food to families and individuals in need this Saturday, April 17th, from 9 a.m. to noon in the parking lot behind Orange Beach City Hall, 4099 Orange Beach Boulevard.
