(MONTGOMERY, AL – July 27, 2020) Out of concern for the health and safety of the general public, licensees and other key stakeholders, the Alabama Alcoholic Beverage Control Board today approved an emergency order that limits the hours of operations for restaurants, bars and other entities that sell alcohol.
Most adults who have had mild to moderate COVID-19 illness can now leave isolation after completing 10 days in home isolation and persons do not need to be retested before returning to work, according to newly released Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines.
In lieu of a town hall meeting that Mayor Tony Kennon and the City Council would usually hold but cannot due to the pandemic, the mayor took some time before the start of the council meeting on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 to give residents an update on some projects and issues around town.
