In the Orange Beach Elementary School auditorium full of students, school faculty, Baldwin County school administrators, city officials, police and fire personnel on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall commended everyone in attendance for helping Orange Beach Elementary achieve the 2018 Alabama Safe Schools Initiative Award of Excellence.
GULF SHORES AND ORANGE BEACH, ALABAMA – On May 10, 2019, the National Association of Sports Commissions (NASC), now rebranded as the Sports Events & Tourism Association (Sports ETA), presented industry awards for outstanding individual and organization work at its 27th annual NASC Symposium in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Dozens of officers and members of the community gathered at the Orange Beach Police Department on Friday, May 10th to honor officers and employees from the department who passed away while in service to the public.
The observance was held as part of National Police Week, May 12-18, 2019, which honors the service and sacrifice of U.S. law enforcement officers.
