The Orange Beach City Council will hold its regular meeting at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18th, followed by the Committee of the Whole meeting.
Free soccer clinics for all Orange Beach, Gulf Shores and Elberta Rec players will be held each Wednesday through October 3, 2018 at the Orange Beach Sportsplex on Field 6.

A hybrid Kemp's ridley/loggerhead turtle rescued in July by Sea Turtle Stranding and Salvage Network volunteer Susan West is scheduled to be released in Orange Beach at noon Tuesday, Sept. 11th
The turtle, named Avrie, received excellent care at Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park and is now ready to return to the wild.

A prescribed burn is planned at Gulf State Park as part of a forest management plan associated with longleaf pine restoration, fuel reduction and invasive species control. The planned burn will take place in the park’s campground between sites 188 and 316 on September 10-14, 2018, weather permitting.
The Coastal Arts Center of Orange Beach is celebrating its first year with its new fine arts gallery and full campus, which includes a hot glass shop, clay studio and art education classroom.
