The Orange Beach City Council will hold its regular meeting at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, followed by the Committee of the Whole meeting.
The City of Orange Beach is moving to the 2018 Edition of the International Code Series on January 1, 2019.
Orange Beach is excited to offer two winter sports this year! Both basketball and flag football are open to boys and girls, and the two sports will not conflict with each other. Online registration opens up on Monday, October 8th.
A prescribed burn is planned at Gulf State Park as part of a forest management plan associated with longleaf pine restoration, fuel reduction and invasive species control. The planned burn will take place in the park’s campground between Possum Road and Raccoon Road (sites 317-394 and sites 409-439) on October 1-4, 2018, weather permitting.
The Baldwin Pops Band, conducted by Dr. Jason Rinehart, will present "Bernstein, Jazz, and Our Southern Roots" at 4 p.m. Sunday, October 14th at the Library Green in Orange Beach, overlooking Wolf Bay.
The Orange Beach Lions Club is hosting a free paper material Shredding Day for residents from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 23 at the Orange Beach Event Center.
The event is for residents only, no businesses. The club will collect used eyeglasses during the event as part of its Lions Recycle for Sight program as well.
The Alabama Soccer Association will host a 3v3 Soccer Festival at the Orange Beach Sportsplex on Nov. 3-4, 2018.
Each team plays three games and receives free tickets to the SEC Women’s Soccer Championship final.

September 25, 2018 (Presidium) - Orange Beach, Alabama – The City Council for the City of Orange Beach today held a public hearing and then voted unanimously to approve a Development Agreement with a private developer for the redevelopment of the abandoned and partially completed Bama Bayou.
