JOB SUMMARY Under general direction, this employee will monitor the activities occurring in the Expect Excellence Academics Program Classroom. This will include maintaining equipment, monitoring user safety, maintaining order, and dispensing items as needed. This employee may be required to lead classes for students.
Academic Instructors will work directly with the Expect Excellence Academic Coordinator to instruct students in all areas of and specific areas of continued study. Instructors will be required to work in a classroom setting as well as give individualized instruction. Instruction will include homework assistance, remedial instruction, test preparation, and enhanced learning. Academic Instructors will also be required to monitor student’s individual academic needs. Order supplies and replenishes materials throughout the semester. This individual will also monitor individual student’s needs, instructors’ performance, record hours and class sizes, as well as schedule substitute teachers as needed throughout the semester.
- Possess a valid Alabama Driver’s License.
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree along with experience related field of study.
- Experience and background in Education. Elementary Education preferred.
