As part of the Orange Beach Continuing Excellence Fall 2021 program, Virtual French will be held via Google Classroom from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. each Wednesday, September 8th to December 8th. Classes will not be held on holidays or student holidays due to the Expect Excellence childcare program. For Virtual Spanish, there will be no class on November 24th.
The instructor will be Erin Jackson.
The Beginner French class will introduce students to the foundations of the French language such as the alphabet, numbers, and common verbs and vocabulary. Once the students have grasped the basics, they will be introduced to common phrases and French grammar. Classes will also include exposure to French media such as music and the engaging opportunity to become pen-pals with native French speakers.
Prior to the class starting, the instructor will send a Google Classroom link to sign into to participate.
