The 27th Annual Orange Beach Seafood Festival was a huge success!  Organizers estimate the attendance at 18,000 people over the course of the day - Saturday, February 23.  Monies raised from the event will be used to fund Orange Beach's new high school and middle school activities...athletics, arts & academics and more.

The new location of the Car Show on the west side of the Wharf property was a perfect location for the many cars who turned out.  It's always fun to look at the detail in these beautiful vehicles and many even came with owners dressed in period clothing to match.  Fun for all!

125 artists participated with everything from pottery, watercolors, glass art, wood products, body care items, clothing, jewelry, packaged foods, etc...you name it, it was there.

There were 12 full seafood booths serving a variety of delectable treats...BarBQ Shrimp, Seafood Nachos, Crab Bisque, Crawfish Etoufee, Fried Catfish, Seafood Gumbo, Jamaican Jerk Shrimp, Pepper Shrimp, Low Country Boil, Shrimp Rasta Pasta, Crawfish Cornbread Dressing, Crab & Corn Chowder and on and on.  There were even Specialty Foods like Kettle Corn, Frozen Cheesecake on a Stick, Fruit Bowls & Smoothies.
The new pet parade 'Paws on Parade' was a huge hit.  Furrever Homes Animal Rescue was on site with fur babies to adopt and many went home with new families.  Money was also raised for animal rescue in the area.
