Orange Beach Featured Events

The city of Orange Beach is home to many great events. These are the ones that we consider our Featured Events. Come out and have fun with the entire family!

Mardi Gras:

Festival of Art:

For more than 40 years, the Festival of Art has been our island's first rite of spring. It is a celebration of visual, performing, musical and culinary arts.  With more than 100 artists working in a dazzling variety of medias, festival-goers always have plenty to see, hear, touch, taste and experience. This fine arts festival is completely FREE with music and entertainment featured on two stages. Public parking is located at Island Church with shuttle service provided for a $5 daily rate. Parking is also available at Orange Beach City Hall.  Island Church parking is available Saturday 9-5, but only 1-5 on Sunday. Parking for guests approaching from east Orange Beach (Bear Point, Caswell, etc.) is at the Orange Beach Presbyterian Church.

Seafood Festival:

The festival is one of the events put on by MAAAC - Makos Academics, Arts & Athletics Club - and supports extracurricular activities at Orange Beach schools. Each year in late February, the event includes a full day of delicious food, 120 arts and crafts vendors, music on two stages, a large Kids Zone with activities and entertainment and a Car Show featuring antique, classic and hot rod vehicles.

Freedom Fest:

The City of Orange Beach hosted the inaugural Freedom Fest in 2021. The festival is now held annually on the first weekend in October. It is a true, down-home celebration of America with Bama Coast Cruisin' car show, concerts, special speakers, arts & crafts, children's activities, food... just an All-American red, white and blue weekend in Orange Beach, Alabama.
