Orange Beach Featured Events

The city of Orange Beach is home to many great events. These are the ones that we consider our Featured Events. Come out and have fun with the entire family!

Mardi Gras:

Orange Beach is home to some of the greatest, most family-friendly parades around. To find out about all of the activities that are happening, click here.

Festival of Art:

For more than 40 years, the Festival of Art has been our island's first rite of spring. It is a celebration of visual, performing, musical and culinary arts.  With more than 100 artists working in a dazzling variety of medias, festival-goers always have plenty to see, hear, touch, taste and experience. This fine arts festival is completely FREE with music and entertainment featured on two stages. Public parking is located at Island Church with shuttle service provided for a $5 daily rate. Parking is also available at Orange Beach City Hall.  Island Church parking is available Saturday 9-5, but only 1-5 on Sunday. Parking for guests approaching from east Orange Beach (Bear Point, Caswell, etc.) is at the Orange Beach Presbyterian Church.

Seafood Festival:

The festival is one of the events put on by MAAAC - Makos Academics, Arts & Athletics Club - and supports extracurricular activities at Orange Beach schools. Each year in late February, the event includes a full day of delicious food, 120 arts and crafts vendors, music on two stages, a large Kids Zone with activities and entertainment and a Car Show featuring antique, classic and hot rod vehicles.

SEC Soccer Championship:

Come out and watch the very best of the SEC at the SEC Soccer Championships. Each year, the City of Orange Beach looks forward to welcoming all of the players and invites the community to come out and watch some of the best soccer players in the nation.  Orange Beach has a contract to host the SEC women's title tournament through 2020 with a 5-year extension. "Hosting the SEC Women's Soccer Championship has been the anchor for our sports tourism since 2003," City Administrator Ken Grimes said. "For over a decade the partnership with the SEC proves to other athletic decision makers how we work and how we provide first-class facilities and support services for championships of any type. We are proud to see the teams and fans arrive as the SEC calls it ...'the road to Orange Beach!'" The Orange Beach Sportsplex is at 4389 William Silvers Parkway, just off Highway 180 (Canal Road) in Orange Beach, about 1 mile from the Foley Beach Express exit on Canal Road.
