Annual Gingerbread Jam

Saturday, December 4, 2021 - 9:00am to 2:00pm

The annual Gingerbread Jam will be held on Saturday, December 4th from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m at the Orange Beach Event Center. 

It is a gingerbread house-assembly and decorating competition for families and businesses and raises funds for the Expect Excellence Culinary Arts Program. 

Cost is $10 for the Family Category and $25 for the Business Category. There is no team registration cost for City of Orange Beach Employees and all students. Supplies are not included. Each team needs to bring their own gingerbread structures, icing and decorative elements, along with their own tablecloth. Nothing may be pre-assembled. Building will begin on-site at 9 a.m.

The event is open to the public from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.: free entry and viewing. Cookies and hot chocolate will be available for purchase. Family judging at noon; business judging at 1 p.m.
